Mumbai, 8th April 2022 – Isha Koppikar, who has probably worked in every Indian language and all formats, says what people are doing now with content, she did it some 20 years ago.
Isha Koppikar was interacting with NewsHelpline at launch of 5 new verticals, 9 film projects of Time Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltd. In Mumbai.
When asked about OTT and newer content has changed the industry, Isha said, “Due to lockdown, theaters were shut down and we’re digitized now, so OTT was the only medium which entertainment people. Plus, the content on OTT is quite good. People are experimenting and content is always the king. There is so much work for everyone, every passionate actor is flooded with work”
“Now OTT is something we all are exploring, most of the actors are having digital releases, as theaters were close, so it is great, I am looking forward to more shows, releases, and content on OTT” added Isha.
Further adding, Isha said, she started her career with content-oriented projects, which people are exploring now.
She said, “Content is something I explored in the beginning of my career, I did some roles which you can call experimental, which people are doing today, and I did it some 20 odd years ago. I started my career with a song, then I did a horror film, followed it with a negative lead, I don’t there is any heroine who started out like I did, but I love doing that, people have loved my roles, and what more could an actor ask for?”
Meanwhile on the work front, Isha is currently busy with Assi Nabbe Poorey Sau and Tamil movie, Ayalaan.
